- 70% of search users choose organic over paid listing when searching, 67% choose organic search when purchasing.
- When the searcher is purchasing, organic click-through generates 25% higher conversion rates than equivalent Pay-Per-Click (PPC) click-through.
- 40% of SEO campaigns have ROI returns in excess of 500%, while only 22% of PPC campaigns were able to achieve this value.
The most obvious one, but still worth mentioning that if you are on the first page for a desired keyword phrase related to your site, it is more likely to get click on.
What this tells us is that although the rate is less than being on the first page. Having a second page listing can still bring in visitors.
What these two statistics tell us is that although paid listings are seen first, consumers trust the natural listings more.
Again, this statistic backs up the fact that while pay per click sponsored ads are seen first, the actual conversion rates for natural listings is higher.
